This week, we have added 4 new waiting lists to our open Section 8 waiting lists page. We are now aware of 488 open Section 8 waiting lists, and 4 waiting lists that are opening soon. Here are the new scheduled waiting lists that are open now or opening soon:
Eddy County, New Mexico: The Eastern Regional Housing Authority (ERHA): Eddy County Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open, from February 29, 2016 at 10:30 am MT, until March 14, 2016. Pre-applications are available in person and by phone. There are no preferences. Applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the pre-application was received. Kenner, Louisiana: The Kenner Housing Authority (KHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is opening soon, from March 14, 2016 at 8:00 am, until March 16, 2016 at 4:00 pm CT. Although this waiting list was scheduled to open for three days in January 2016, there were technical difficulties during the first day of the opening, and the KHA closed the waiting list until further notice. Pre-applications will be available online only. There are no preferences. Applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time of pre-application submission.
