This week, we have added 3 new waiting lists to our open Section 8 waiting lists page. We are now aware of 482 open Section 8 waiting lists, and 8 waiting lists that are opening soon. Here are the new scheduled waiting lists that are open now or opening soon:
Richmond County, Georgia: Augusta Housing Authority (AHA) is currently accepting Section 8 Project-Based Voucher waiting list pre-applications for senior (55+) households at The Legacy at Walton Oaks, from March 28, 2016, until April 18, 2016 at 5:00 pm ET. Pre-applications are available online. Three preferences have been identified. It is not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list. Sangamon County, Illinois: The Springfield Housing Authority (SHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is opening soon, on April 11, 2016 at 8:30 am CT. This waiting list will be open indefinitely. Pre-applications will be available in person. Two preferences have been identified. It is not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list. Janesville, Wisconsin: The Janesville Neighborhood and Community Services (JNCS) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is opening soon, on April 7, 2016 at 8:00 am CT. This waiting list will be open indefinitely. Pre-applications will be available in person. Two preferences have been identified. Applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the pre-application is received, after sorting preferences. For more information, please visit our JNCS information page.
