This week, we have added 7 new waiting lists to our open Section 8 waiting lists page. We are now aware of 490 open Section 8 waiting lists, and 8 waiting lists that are opening soon. Here are the new scheduled waiting lists that are opening soon:
Phoenix, Arizona: The City of Phoenix Housing Department (CPHD) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is opening soon, from May 23, 2016, until May 27, 2016. The CPHD was not able to give an opening or closing time. A CPHD representative recommended that we call a few days before the opening for this information. We will update the content of this page when more information becomes available. Applications will be available online. Five preferences have been identified. Greenwich, Connecticut: The Housing Authority of the Town of Greenwich (HATG) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is opening soon, from April 14, 2016 at 8:30 am ET, until April 15, 2016. Applications will be available online and in person. No preferences have been identified. Applicants will be placed on the waiting list by random lottery. Ventura County, California: The Area Housing Authority of the County of Ventura (AHACV) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is opening soon, from April 26, 2016 at 7:00 am PT, until May 9, 2016. Applications will be available online and in person. No preferences have been identified. Applicants will be placed on the waiting list by random lottery.
