This week, we have added 6 new waiting lists to our open Section 8 waiting lists page. We are now aware of 501 open Section 8 waiting lists, and 7 waiting lists that are opening soon. Here are the new scheduled waiting lists that are open now or opening soon:
Boise/Ada County, Idaho: The Boise City/Ada County Housing Authority (BC/ACHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open on a limited basis, from May 9, 2016 at 6:00 am, until May 27, 2016 at 5:00 pm MT. Please visit our BC/ACHA page for more information on the restrictions of this waiting list. Applications are available online. Two preferences have been identified. Applicants will be placed on the waiting list by random lottery, after sorting preferences. For more information, please visit our BC/ACHA information page.
Quincy, Illinois: The Quincy Housing Authority (QHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open, from May 10, 2016 at 9:00 am, until May 11, 2016 at 4:00 pm CT. Applications are available in person. No preferences have been identified. It is not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list. Greenville County, South Carolina: The Greenville Housing Authority (TGHA) Section 8 Project-Based Voucher waiting list is currently open for senior (62+) households, from May 2, 2016 at 9:00 am, until May 27, 2016 at 12:00 pm ET. Note: This is NOT the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program. Applications are available online. No preferences have been identified. Clark County, Nevada: The Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority (SNRHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is opening soon on a limited basis for one day only, on May 16, 2016, from 8:30 am until 4:00 pm PT. Please visit our SNRHA page for more information on the restrictions of this waiting list. Applications will be available by phone. Seven preferences have been identified. It is not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list. For more information, please visit our SNRHA information page.
Grayson County, Texas: The Housing Authority of Grayson County (HAGC) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is opening soon, from May 16, 2016 at 9:00 am, until May 18, 2016 at 3:00 pm CT. Applications will be available in person and online. Four preferences have been identified.
