This week, we have added 3 new waiting lists to our open Section 8 waiting lists page. We are now aware of 497 open Section 8 waiting lists, and 6 waiting lists that are opening soon. Here are the new scheduled waiting lists that are opening soon:
Phoenix, Arizona: UPDATE: The City of Phoenix Housing Department (CPHD) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is now opening soon, from August 8, 2016 at 9:00 am, until August 13, 2016 at 12:00 am MT. We previously reported that this waiting list would open from May 23, 2016, until May 27, 2016, but the CPHD delayed the opening to the above dates. Applications will be available online. There are five preferences. Applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time of application submission, after sorting preferences. Long Beach, California: The Housing Authority of the City of Long Beach (HACLB) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher and Housing Opportunities for Persons with Aids waiting lists are opening soon, from June 6, 2016 at 12:01 am, until June 20, 2016 at 11:59 pm PT. Applications will be available online. Applicants will be placed on the waiting list by random lottery. For more information, please visit our HACLB information page.
DuPage County, Illinois: The DuPage Housing Authority (DHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is opening soon, on June 20, 2016 at 8:30 am CT. Pre-applications will be available online. No preferences have been identified. Applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the pre-application is received. For more information, please visit our DHA information page.
River Falls, Wisconsin: The River Falls Housing Authority (RFHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is opening soon on a limited basis, from June 1, 2016 at 8:30 am, until December 30, 2016 at 5:00 pm CT. Please visit our RFHA page for more information on the restrictions of this waiting list. Applications will be available online, by phone and in person.
