New Section 8 Waiting List Openings – 7/13/2016

This week, we have added 2 new waiting lists on our open Section 8 waiting lists page. We are now aware of 501 open Section 8 waiting lists, and 2 waiting lists that are opening soon. Here are the new scheduled waiting lists that are currently open and opening soon:

Dallas, Texas: The Dallas Housing Authority (DHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open, from July 12, 2016 at 8:00 am until July 13, 2016 at 5:00 pm CT. Applications are available online. There are five preferences. Applicants will be placed on the waiting list by random lottery, after sorting preferences. Henry County, Tennessee: The Tennessee Housing Development Agency (THDA): Henry County Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open for two days only, from July 13, 2016 at 6:00 am, until July 14, 2016 at 11:59 pm. Applications are available online. No preferences have been identified. It is not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list. For more details, visit our THDA information page here.

Applications are available in person. There are six preferences. Applicants will be placed on the waiting list by random lottery, after sorting preferences.
