With 2 waiting list closing since last week, we are now aware of 436 open Section 8 waiting lists, and 10 waiting lists that are opening soon. Here are the Section 8 waiting lists that are opening soon since last week:
Butte County, California: The Housing Authority of the County of Butte (HACB) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is opening soon, from November 1, 2015 at 12:00 am, until November 30, 2015 at 12:00 am PT. Pre-applications will be available online only. There are no preferences. HACB will place 1,000 qualified applicants on the waiting list by random lottery. New Castle, Indiana: The New Castle Housing Authority (NCHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is opening soon, on November 2, 2015 at 8:00 am ET. Pre-applications will be available at the NCHA Section 8 Program Office. One preference has been identified. The NCHA will close the waiting list once 100 pre-applications have been accepted. Montgomery County, Pennsylvania: The Montgomery County Housing Authority (MCHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is opening soon, from November 5, 2015 at 12:01 am, until November 10, 2015 at 11:59 pm ET. Pre-applications will be available online only. There are no preferences. The MCHA will place 1,000 qualified applicants on the waiting list by random lottery. Lakewood Township, New Jersey: The Lakewood Township Residential Assistance Program (LTRAP) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is opening soon, from November 9, 2015 at 9:00 am, until November 23, 2015 at 5:00 pm ET. Pre-applications will be available online only. Three preferences have been identified. The LTRAP will place 3,000 qualified applicants on the waiting list by random lottery. Lakewood, Colorado: The Metro West Housing Solutions (MWHS) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is opening soon, from November 10, 2015 at 8:00 am, until November 13, 2015 at 5:00 pm MT. Pre-applications will be available online only. Four preferences have been identified. There is no limit of how many qualified applicants MWHS will place on the waiting list by random lottery. Pierce County, Washington: The Pierce County Housing Authority (PCHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is opening soon, from November 16, 2015 at 12:00 am, until November 19, 2015 at 11:59 pm PT. Pre-applications will be available online only. No preferences have been identified. The PCHA will place 1,500 qualified applicants on the waiting list by random lottery. Westland, Michigan: The Westland Housing Commission (WHC) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is opening soon, from November 19, 2015 at 3:00 am, until November 22, 2015 at 12:00 am ET. Pre-applications will be available online only. Five preferences have been identified. The WHC will place 1,000 qualified applicants on the waiting list by random lottery.
