This week, we have added 7 new waiting lists to our open Section 8 waiting lists page. We are now aware of 503 open Section 8 waiting lists, and 4 waiting lists that are opening soon. Here are the new scheduled waiting lists that are opening soon:
Culver City, California
The Culver City Housing Authority (CCHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is opening soon for two days only, from November 18, 2016 at 8:00 am, until November 19, 2016 at 11:59 pm PT. Applications will be available online. There are four preferences. Applicants will be placed on the waiting list by random lottery, after sorting preferences. Lorain County, Ohio
The Lorain Metropolitan Housing Authority (LMHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is opening soon, from January 8, 2017 at 12:01 am, until January 14, 2017 at 11:59 pm ET. Applications will be available online. There are no preferences. 1,500 applicants will be placed on the waiting list by random lottery. Read more on how to apply on our LMHA information page.
Multi-County, Michigan
The Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA): Alger, Arenac, Charlevoix, Huron, and Lake County Section 8 HCV waiting lists are opening soon, from January 3, 2016 at 8:00 am, until March 31, 2017 at 5:00 pm ET. Applications will be available online. There are two preferences. Applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time of pre-application submission, after sorting preferences.
