This week, we have added 2 new waiting lists to our open Section 8 waiting lists page. We are now aware of 502 open Section 8 waiting lists, and 4 waiting lists that are opening soon. Here are the new scheduled waiting lists that are currently open and opening soon:
Geauga County, Ohio
The Geauga Metropolitan Housing Authority (GMHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open, from November 18, 2016 at 8:00 am ET, until December 2, 2016. Applications are available online and in person. There are two preferences. Read more on how to apply on our GMHA information page.
Hennepin and Ramsey County, Minnesota
The Mental Health Resources (MHR) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is opening soon on a limited basis, from December 12, 2016 at 8:00 am, until December 16, 2016 at 3:00 pm CT. Applications will be available online. There are six preferences. 1,000 applicants will be placed on the waiting list by random lottery. Read more on how to apply on our MHR information page here.
