This week, we have added 5 new waiting lists to our open Section 8 waiting lists page. We are now aware of 499 open Section 8 waiting lists, and 7 waiting lists that are opening soon. Here are the new scheduled waiting lists that are currently open and opening soon:
Baldwin Park, California: The Baldwin Park Housing Authority (BPHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher, Project-Based Voucher, and Public Housing waiting lists are currently open, from August 2, 2016 at 8:00 am, until August 9, 2016 at 8:00 am PT. Applications are available online. There are two preferences. Applicants will be placed on the waiting list by random lottery, after sorting preferences. Waterbury, Connecticut: The Waterbury Housing Authority (WHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is opening soon, from August 15, 2016 at 8:30 am, until August 17, 2016 at 4:30 pm ET. Applications will be available online. There are no preferences. 2,000 applicants will be placed on the waiting list by random lottery. Read more on how to apply on our WHA information page.
Clay County, Tennessee: The Tennessee Housing Development Agency (THDA): Clay County Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is opening soon for one day only, on August 15, 2016, from 8:00 am until 11:59 pm CT. No preferences have been identified. It is not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list. We have contacted the THDA for confirmation. Maury County, Tennessee: The Tennessee Housing Development Agency (THDA): Maury County Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is opening soon for two days only, from August 15, 2016 at 8:00 am, until August 16, 2016 at 11:59 pm CT.
