This week, we have added 13 new waiting lists to our open Section 8 waiting lists page. We are now aware of 500 open Section 8 waiting lists, and 8 waiting lists that are opening soon. Here are the new scheduled waiting lists that are currently open and opening soon:
Multi-County, Texas
The Deep East Texas Council of Governments Regional Housing Authority (DETCGRHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open, from July 1, 2016, until September 30, 2016 at 5:00 pm CT. Applications are available online and by contacting the housing authority. There are four preferences. It is not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list. Boerne, Texas
The Boerne Housing Authority (BHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open, from September 12, 2016, until September 29, 2016. Applications are available in person. There are no preferences. Applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application was received. Read more on how to apply on our BHA information page.
Edinburg, Texas
The Edinburg Housing Authority (EHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open, until October 31, 2016 at 11:59 pm CT. Applications are available online. Preferences have not yet been confirmed. It is not known how applicants will be placed on the waiting list. Read more on how to apply on our EHA information page.
Barry County, Michigan
The Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA): Barry County Section 8 HCV waiting list is opening soon, from December 1, 2016 at 8:00 am, until February 28, 2017 at 5:00 pm ET. Applications will be available online. There are two preferences. Applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time of pre-application submission, after sorting preferences. Lewis, Marshall, Moore, Perry, and Wayne County, Tennessee
The Tennessee Housing Development Agency (THDA): Lewis, Marshall, Moore, Perry, and Wayne County Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting lists are opening soon, from October 3, 2016 at 6:00 am, until October 4, 2016 at 11:59 pm CT. Applications will be available online. There are four preferences. Applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application was received, after sorting preferences.
