This week, we have added 5 new waiting lists to our open Section 8 waiting lists page. We are now aware of 504 open Section 8 waiting lists, and 8 waiting lists that are opening soon. Here are the new scheduled waiting lists that are open now and opening soon:
Fairport, New York
The Fairport Urban Renewal Agency (FURA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open indefinitely. Applications are available online and in person. There are five preferences. Applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, after sorting preferences. Read more on how to apply on our FURA information page here.
St. Charles County, Missouri
The Housing Assistance Program of St. Charles County (HAPSCC) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open. This waiting list opened on January 1, 2017, and is open indefinitely. Applications are available online. There are three preferences. Applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, after sorting preferences. Maricopa County, Arizona
The Housing Authority of Maricopa County (HAMC) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is opening soon, from January 9, 2017 at 10:00 am, until January 20, 2017 at 3:00 pm MT. Applications will be available online. Preferences have not yet been confirmed. 4,776 applicants will be placed on the waiting list by random lottery. Santa Monica, California
The Santa Monica Housing Authority (SMHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is opening soon for one day only, on January 31, 2017, from 8:00 am until 8:00 pm PT. Applications will be available online. There are ten preferences. Applicants will be placed on the waiting list by random lottery, after sorting preferences.
