This week, we have added 5 new Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list openings to our open Section 8 waiting lists page. Here are the new scheduled waiting lists that are open now and opening soon:
Miami-Dade County, Florida
The Hialeah Housing Authority (HHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is opening soon, from April 21, 2017 at 12:01 am, until May 4, 2017 at 11:59 pm ET. Applications will be available online. There are three preferences. 2,500 applicants will be placed on the waiting list by random lottery, after sorting preferences. Jefferson County, Indiana
The Ohio Valley Opportunities (OVO): Jefferson County Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is opening soon, from May 15, 2017 at 8:00 am, until May 19, 2017 at 12:00 pm ET. Applications will be available in person. There are seven preferences. Applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received, after sorting preferences.
