Every week, Affordable Housing Online announces the latest Section 8 waiting list openings for renters in search of low-income housing assistance in the U.S.

AHO makes it easier for renters to apply for affordable housing.

Waiting lists have different requirements on how to apply, and how applications are ordered. AHO has the most up to date details on this information for hundreds of open waiting lists nationwide.

Note: Applicants do not need to live in the area to apply to most waiting lists. Once a waiting list closes, it may stay closed for many years.

Hamilton County, Indiana

The Noblesville Housing Authority (NHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications are being accepted from August 31, 2022 at 9:00 am, until September 9, 2022 at 4:00 pm ET.

The Lapeer Housing Commission (LHC) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications are being accepted from August 29, 2022 at 8:00 am, until September 6, 2022 at 4:00 pm ET.

The Economic Improvement Council, Inc (EICCA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list for Multiple Counties is accepting applications from September 7, 2022 at 8:30 am ET, until the maximum number of applications has been received for each county.

The St. Bernard Parish Government Housing and Redevelopment Department (SBPHR) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications will be accepted from September 1, 2022 at 8:00 am, until September 7, 2022 at 5:00 pm ET.
