COVID-19 Notice
Due to concerns of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) disease, some waiting list openings may be postponed until further notice, or submission instructions may be adjusted. The Affordable Housing Online team is closely monitoring waiting lists that are open now and opening soon, and will make updates to our website accordingly. The waiting lists below are confirmed openings.

COVID-19 Rental Assistance Programs
To help renters who are struggling to pay rent during the coronavirus pandemic, several cities, counties, and states have created emergency rental assistance programs for their residents with CARES Act funds. The application period for many local programs are currently open as of February, 2021.

Jacksonville, FL Section 8 HCV Waiting List
The Jacksonville Housing Authority (JHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications are being accepted from February 8, 2021 at 8:00 am ET, until further notice. Learn How To Apply.
Danbury, CT Section 8 Mainstream HCV Waiting List
The Housing Authority of the City of Danbury (HACD) Mainstream Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications will be accepted from February 8, 2021 until February 11, 2021 at 5:00 pm ET. Learn How To Apply.

The Wilson Housing Authority (WHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications will be accepted from February 8, 2021 until February 24, 2021. Learn How To Apply.
Multi-County; and Carson City, NV Section 8 HCV Waiting List
The Nevada Rural Housing Authority (NRHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications will be accepted from February 10, 2021 until further notice. Learn How To Apply.

The Ark-Tex Council of Governments (ATCOG) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications will be accepted from February 16, 2021, until further notice. Learn How To Apply.
Greenville, NC Mainstream Section 8 HCV Waiting List
The Housing Authority of the City of Greenville (HACG) Mainstream Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications will be accepted from February 9, 2021 at 12:01 am, until February 12, 2021 at 11:59 pm ET. According to the HACG, “the purpose of the Mainstream Voucher Program is to provide rental assistance for non-elderly (18-61), low-income families with at least one verifiably disabled family member.” Learn How To Apply.
