Every week, Affordable Housing Online announces the latest Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list openings for renters in search of low-income housing assistance in the U.S.
Many waiting lists have different requirements on how to apply. And sometimes, it can be hard to find all the important details. AHO gathers all of this information to save renters time in their housing search.
There’s another three (3) new Section 8 waiting list openings announced this week by AHO! Each of these waitlists are in different areas of the country, and one is open today only!

Note: Applicants do not need to live in the area to apply to most waiting lists. Once a waiting list closes, it may stay closed for many years.

Albemarle County, Virginia Waitlist Closes Soon
The Albemarle County Office of Housing will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher, Family Unification Program Voucher, and Project-Based Voucher waiting list applications from April 6, until April 13, 2023.

Harrison County, Texas Waitlist Closes Soon
The Marshall Housing Authority is accepting Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications and Public Housing applications for Poplar Apartments from April 3, until April 17, 2023.

Clay and Flagler County, Florida Waitlist Opens Today
Update: As of 10:00 am ET, this waiting list is now closed.
The Flagler County Housing Authority is accepting Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from April 10, 2023, until further notice.
