The Greene Metropolitan Housing Authority (GMHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently open. It opened on October 1, 2013 and is open indefinitely.
There are two ways to apply:
The following documents are required when submitting the pre-application: Birth certificate and Social Security Number of all members of the household; Photo ID of all adult (18+) members of the household.
This waiting list has the following preferences: Families with children, single person verifying expected reunification with children within six months, elderly, single pregnant, single disabled, disable, victim of domestic violence, displaced by government action, displaced by natural disaster, living in substandard housing, working, near elderly, rent burdened, overcrowded household, vetern, Live or work in Greene County for at least 90 days, current or prior resident of Village of Yellow Springs or has family residing there, completed Money Management Course.
Qualified applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time of the pre-application submission, by order of preferences.
