This waiting list is for Other Project Based rental housing assistance in Westbrook, Maine.

The Westbrook Housing Authority (WHA) is accepting Project Based waiting list applications for Multiple Properties from the earliest confirmed open date of May 1, 2024, until further notice.

This waiting list is for the following properties:

  • Dr. Arthur O. Berry Apartments at Larrabee Commons -located 27 Liza Harmon Dr., Westbrook ME 04092. Must be 55 or older to be eligible. 38 one-bedroom units, 18 are subsidized.
  • Larrabee Village  - located at 30 Liza Harmon Dr., Westbrook ME 04092. Must be 62 or older to be eligible. 150 small handicap accessible one-bedroom subsidized units. 
  • Larrabee Woods - located at – 9 Dottie’s Way, Westbrook ME 04092. Must be 62 or older or declareddisabled to be eligible. 25 one and two-bedroom units.  
  • Lewis H Emery Apartments - located at - 67 Ruth Hunton Ct., Westbrook ME 04092. Must be 55 or older to beeligible. 30 one-bedroom units, 20 are subsidized. 
  • Riverview Terrace - located at 21 Knight St, Westbrook ME 04092. Must be 62 or older or declared disabledto be eligible. 58 efficiency and one-bedroom units.  
  • Robert L. Harnois -located at 70 Ruth Hunton Ct., Westbrook ME 04092. Must be 62 or older tobe eligible. 61 one-bedroom subsidized units. 

This waiting list has the following preferences: Live or work in Westbrook.

Larrabee Woods and Riverview Terrace have the additional following preference: Homeless – Applicants who are homeless.

It is not yet known how selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list.

There are three ways to apply while the waitlist is open:

  1. Print the paper application
  2. Pick up an applications from the WHA office, located at 30 Liza Harmon Drive, Westbrook, ME 04092.
  3. Call the WHA at (207) 854-9779 to request an application be mailed.

Once the paper application has been completed, it must be either:

  1. Mailed to the WHA office, address mentioned above.
  2. Hand delivered to the WHA office, address mentioned above.

Multiple Properties Project-Based Applicant Preferences

Multiple Properties has preferences for: Live, Work, or Attend School Locally, Homeless. Preferences are not required but Project-Based applicants that meet these criteria will be moved up the waiting list.
