Note: Applicants do not need to live in the area to apply to most waiting lists. Once a waiting list closes, it may stay closed for many years.
New Waiting List Announcements
Roanoke, VA Section 8 HCV Waiting List
The Roanoke Redevelopment and Housing Authority (RRHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications will be accepted from August 15, 2022 at 8:30 am, until August 19, 2022 at 5:00 pm ET.
Multi-County, IN Section 8 HCV Waiting List
The Lincoln Hills Development Corporation (LHDC) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications are being accepted from July 25, 2022 at 8:00 am, until August 26, 2022 at 4:00 pm CT.
Bernalillo County, NM Section 8 HCV Waiting List
The Bernalillo County Housing Department (BCHD) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications for Bernalillo County will be accepted from August 16, 2022 at 8:00 am, until September 16, 2022 at 5:00 pm MT.
Yolo County, CA Section 8 HCV Waiting List
The Yolo County Housing (YCH) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications will be accepted from August 22, 2022 at 1:00 pm, until August 31, 2022 at 5:00 pm PT, or when the maximum number of applications have been received.
Kenosha, WI Section 8 HCV Waiting List
The Kenosha Housing Authority (KHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications will be accepted for one day only on August 24, 2022 from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm CT.

McDonough County, IL Section 8 HCV Waiting List
The Housing Authority of McDonough County (HAMC) is accepting Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from August 1, 2022 at 8:00 am, until August 30, 2022 at 4:00 pm CT.
Alexander, Burke, Caldwell and Catawba County, NC Section 8 HCV Waiting List
The Western Piedmont Council of Governments Regional Housing Authority (RHA) is accepting Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from July 1, 2022 at 8:15 am, until August 15, 2022 at 5:00 pm ET. The close date was announced by the RHA on July 27th.
Mesa, AZ Section 8 HCV Waiting List
The City of Mesa Housing Authority (CMHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications will be accepted from August 17, 2022 at 10:00 am, until August 30, 2022 at 5:00 pm MT.
Multi-County, MI Section 8 HCV Waiting List
The Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications for Alcona, Alpena, Antrim, Benzie, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Crawford, Emmet, Grand Traverse, Iosco, Kalkaska, Leelanau, Manistee, Missaukee, Montmorency, Ogemaw, Oscoda, Otsego, Presque Isle, Roscommon and Wexford County will be accepted from August 2, 2022 at 9:00 am, until August 30, 2022 at 3:00 pm ET.
Multi-County, IN Section 8 HCV Waiting List
The Hoosier Uplands Economic Development Corporation (HUEDC) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications for Daviess, Dubois, Greene (excludes city limits of Bloomfield, Linton and Jasonville), Lawrence (excludes the city limits of Bedford), Martin, Orange, Pike and Washington County will be accepted from August 15, 2022 at 8:00 am ET, until further notice.
Decatur, IN Section 8 HCV Waiting List
The Decatur Housing Authority (DHA) will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from August 1, 2022 at 8:00 am ET, until further notice.
Fort Wayne, IN Section 8 HCV Waiting List
The Fort Wayne Housing Authority (FWHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications will be accepted from June 29, 2022 at 8:00 am ET, until further notice.
Okanogan County, WA Section 8 HCV Waiting List
The Housing Authority of Okanogan County (HAOC) will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from July 5, 2022 at 8:00 am, until September 8, 2022 at 4:00 pm PT.
Palm Beach County, FL Section 8 HCV Waiting List
The Palm Beach County Housing Authority will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from June 6, 2022 at 9:00 am ET, until further notice.
