Hoosier Uplands Economic Development Corporation operates the Section 8 program on behalf of Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority.
Hoosier Uplands Economic Development Corporation serves Daviess County, Dubois County, Greene County, Lawrence County, Martin County, Orange County, Pike County and Washington County but does not serve Bedford, Bloomfield, Jasonville and Linton.
The Hoosier Uplands Economic Development Corporation (HUEDC) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list for all counties is currently closed. Daviess, Dubois, Greene, Martin and Pike County were each last open in September 2017 until 100 applications were submitted for each county. Lawrence County was last open from August 2016 until April 2017. There is no notice of when any waiting list will reopen.

This waiting list had the following preferences: Indiana resident, homeless, working or enrolled in educational or job training program, elderly, disabled or have a disabled family member, institutionalized or at risk of institutionalization.
Applicants were placed on the waiting list by date and time the application was received, by order of preferences.
