Every week, Affordable Housing Online announces the latest Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list openings for renters in search of low-income housing assistance in the U.S.
Many waiting lists have different requirements on how to apply. And sometimes, it can be hard to find all the important details. AHO gathers all of this information to save renters time in their housing search.
Just like last week, there’s another six (6) new Section 8 waiting list openings announced this week by AHO!

Note: Applicants do not need to live in the area to apply to most waiting lists. Once a waiting list closes, it may stay closed for many years.

Bibb County, Georgia Waitlist Opens Soon
The Macon Housing Authority will accept Section 8 HCV waiting list applications from March 27, until March 29, 2023.

Multi-County, Michigan Waitlist Opens Soon
The Michigan State Housing Development Authority will accept Section 8 HCV waiting list applications for Multiple Counties from March 22, until April 5, 2023.

Multi-County, Virginia Waitlist Opens For One Day
The Nelson Community Development Foundation is accepting Section 8 HCV waiting list applications for one day only on March 15, 2023.

Aurora, Colorado Waitlist Opens Until May
The Housing Authority of the City of Aurora is accepting Section 8 HCV waiting list applications from March 6, until May 1, 2023.

South Bend, Indiana Waitlist Opens Soon
The Housing Authority of South Bend will accept Section 8 HCV waiting list applications from March 14, 2023, until March 16, 2023.

Anchorage, Alaska Waitlist Opens In April
The Alaska Housing Finance Corporation will accept Section 8 HCV waiting list applications for Anchorage from April 1, 2023, until April 30, 2023.
