Every week, Affordable Housing Online announces the latest Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list openings for renters in search of low-income housing in the U.S.
Renters can save valuable time applying for affordable housing by knowing all of the important details about a waiting list, such as the jurisdiction, preferences, and more.
Affordable Housing Online is the only website that helps renters cut time in their housing search by getting the information needed to apply.
There are four (4) new Section 8 waiting list openings announced this week by Affordable Housing Online. There’s also a new Public Housing waiting list that is open now until the end of July.

Note: Applicants do not need to live in the area to apply to most waiting lists. Once a waiting list closes, it may stay closed for many years.

Albuquerque, New Mexico Section 8 Waitlist Opens In June
The Albuquerque Housing Authority will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from June 1, until June 30, 2023.

Salt Lake City, Utah Waitlist Opens Soon
The Housing Authority of Salt Lake City will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from June 1, 2023, until further notice.

Lafourche Parish, Louisiana Waiting List Opens Soon
The Housing Authority of Lafourche Parish will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from May 30, until June 2, 2023.

Lake County, California Waitlist Opens Soon
The Lake County Housing Commission will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from May 15, until May 29, 2023; or until 100 applications are accepted.

Albuquerque, New Mexico Waiting List Opens Through July
The Albuquerque Housing Authority is accepting Public Housing waiting list applications from April 27, until July 31, 2023.

The Arizona Public Housing Authority will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from May 1, until May 31, 2023.

The Bellevue Housing Agency (BHA) will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications for one day only on May 8, 2023 from 10:00 am, until 12:00 pm CT.

The Hunterdon County Division of Housing will accept Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list applications from June 1, until June 15, 2023.
