As of July 2017, the Greene County Housing Authority (GCHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.
To apply, visit the GCHA office to pick up a pre-application, located a t429 Frenchie Burton Rd, Eutaw, AL 35462, from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday.
Once the pre-application has been completed, you must call the GCHA office to make an appointment to turn in the pre-application at (205) 372-3342 , from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday.
Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, photo IDs for all adult household members, and proof of all income.
The GCHA does not have a preference.
Qualified applicants will be placed on the waiting list by the date and time the pre-application is received.
