As of July 2017, the Luverne Housing Authority (LHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.

To apply, visit the LHA office to pick up a pre-application, located at 66 Mitchell Dr., Luverne, AL 36049, from 7:00 am until 5:00 pm, Monday-Thursday; and on Fridays from 7:00 am until 11:00 am CT.

Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above, from 7:00 am until 5:00 pm, Monday-Thursday; and on Fridays from 7:00 am until 11:00 am.

The following documents are needed during the application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, proof of all income, and photo IDs for all adult household members.

The LHA does not have a preference.

Qualified applicants will be placed on the waiting list by the date and time the pre-application is received.
