As of July 2017, the Opp Housing Authority (OHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.

To apply, visit the OHA office to pick up a pre-application, located at 800 Barnes St, Opp, AL 36467, from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm, Monday-Thursday.

Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above, from 8:00 am until 11:00 am and 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm, on Tuesdays and Thursdays only.

Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, proof of all income, and photo IDs for all adult household members.

The OHA does not have a preference.

Qualified applicants will be placed on the waiting list by the date and time the pre-application is received.
