As of July 2017, the Piedmont Housing Authority (PHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.
To apply, visit the PHA office to pick up a pre-application, located at 154 Craig Ave., Piedmont, AL 36272, from 7:30 am until 4:00 pm, Monday-Thursday; and on Fridays from 7:30 am until 12:00 pm CT.
Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above, from 7:30 am until 4:00 pm, Monday-Thursday; and on Fridays from 7:30 am until 12:00 pm.
Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, photo IDs for all adult household members, and proof of all income.
The PHA does have a preference for: Elderly, and disabled.
