As of July 2017, the Samson Housing Authority (SHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.
To apply, visit the SHA office to pick up a pre-application, located at 12 N Wise St, Samson, AL 36477, from 7:30 am until 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm, Monday-Thursday, and on Fridays 7:30 until 11:30 am.
Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above, from 1:30 pm until 3:30 pm, on Tuesdays and Thursdays only.
Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, proof of all income, and photo IDs for all adult household members.
The SHA does have a preference for: Elderly, disabled, or working family.
