This waiting list is for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher rental housing assistance in City of Tallassee and Elmore and Tallapoosa Counties in Alabama.
The Tallassee Housing Authority Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program waiting list is currently closed. It was last open from October 8 and October 9.
It appears the applications were only available in person at the Tallassee Recreational Center located at 450 Gilmer Ave, Tallassee, AL 36078 from 10AM to 2PM on each of the open days. It was unclear if applications must be completed on the spot or if applicants can bring the application home to complete and return it later. It is also unclear if applications were due back by October 9 at 2PM or that's just the deadline to pick up an application.
Note that the Tallassee Housing Authority Section 8 program is managed by the Opelika Housing Authority.

As of July 2017, the Tallassee Housing Authority (THA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.
To apply:
Once the pre-application has been completed, you must call the THA office to schedule an interview to return the pre-application at (334) 283-2801, from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm until 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday.
Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, proof of all income, bank statements, and photo IDs for all adult household members.
The THA does not have a preference.
Qualified applicants will be placed on the waiting list by the date and time the pre-application is received.
