This waiting list is for Public Housing rental housing assistance in Winsted, Connecticut.

The Winchester Housing Authority (WHA) Public Housing waiting list for apartments at Chestnut Grove and Greenwoods Garden is currently open. Applications are being accepted since at least November, 2020, until further notice.

There are two ways to apply during the opening period:

  1. Visit the WHA office, located at 80 Chestnut Street, Winsted, CT, Monday-Thursday, from 8:00 am until 1:00 pm.
  2. Call the WHA office at (890) 379-4573, Ext. 4 or 5. Applicants must leave their full name and complete mailing address.

Once the application has been completed, it must be hand delivered or mailed to the WHA office, located at 80 Chestnut St., Winsted, CT 06098.

The maximum income limits for each household size are as follows:

1 person maximum $21,600.002 people maximum $24,650.00

Preferences have not yet been confirmed.

Selected applicants will be placed on the waiting list by date and time the application is received.
