The Housing Authority of the City of Waynesboro (HACW) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.The HACW offers two Public Housing communities with 287 units for families and senior/disabled individuals.To apply, visit the HACW to submit an application in person, located at 570 Wallace St, Waynesboro, GA 30830, from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm EDT, from the 15th until the end of each month.Be sure to bring these documents with you when applying: birth certificates, social security cards, proof of all income, and photo IDs for all adult household members.The HACW does not have a preference. Qualified applicants will be placed by the date and time their application is received.For more information, the HACW can be reached by calling (706) 554-2233 from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
