To apply during the opening period, applicants were required to print the paper application.

Once the application was completed, it was returned to the THA contactless cashier window.

This waiting list had the following preferences:

  • An applicant who is a veteran with an adult family member enrolled in an employment training program, currently working twenty-five (25) hours a week, or attending school on a full-time basis. For applicants who are currently working, employment shall have been held for at least the past six (6) months. This preference is also extended equally to all elderly families and all families whose head or spouse is receiving income based on their inability to work.

The Thomson Housing Authority (THA) Public Housing waiting list for 3-Bedroom apartments is currently open. Applications are being accepted every Wednesday from May 26, 2021, until further notice.

Once the application has been completed, it must be returned to the THA, located at 219 Pecan Ave, Thomson, GA 30824. According to East Georgia Housing Authority Partners, "Due to a rise in local Covid cases, the EGHAP offices will be closed to the public beginning Wednesday, August 18th, 2021 until further notice...Applications are only accepted on Wednesdays at each location via contactless cashier window."
