The Evansdale Municipal Housing Authority (EMHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families on a limited basis.Please note: 

  • The EMHA does not offer a senior/disabled Public Housing program.
  • According to the EMHA, applicants can only apply if they currently live or work in Evansdale or Black Hawk County, IA. 
The EMHA offers one Public Housing community with 34 units for families, ranging in size from 2 to 4 bedrooms.To apply, visit the EMHA to pick up a pre-application, located at 119 Morrell Court, Evansdale, IA 50707.The EMHA recommends completing the pre-application at the office, however, the applicant may pick up the pre-application and submit it at the office at a later date. The applicant must provide proof of residency when applying.The EMHA does have a preference for applicants that live in Evansdale or Black Hawk County.For more information, call the EMHA office at (319) 234-0385.
