Please note: The Atchinson Housing Authority also manages individual waiting lists for the Linn Housing Authority, Holton Housing Authority, Wamego Housing Authority, and City of Clay Center Housing Authority.The Atchison Housing Authority (AHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled individuals at all locations.
- The Atchison Housing Authority (AHA) offers one Public Housing community with 189 units for families and senior/disabled individuals. Its office is located at 103 S 7th Street, Atchison, KS 66002, and can be reached by calling (913) 367-3323 during normal office hours.
- The Linn Housing Authority (LHA) offers one Public Housing community with 16 units for families and senior/disabled individuals, ranging in size from 1 to 3 bedrooms. Its office is located at 305 Cedar Street, Linn, KS 66953, and can be reached by calling (785) 348-5774 during normal office hours.
- The Holton Housing Authority (HHA) offers one Public Housing community with 60 units for families and senior/disabled individuals, ranging in size from studio's to three bedrooms. Its office is located at 100 Southern Heights Dr., Holton, KS 66436, and can be reached by calling (785) 364-2130 during normal office hours.
- The Wamego Housing Authority (WHA) offers one Public Housing community with 32 units for families and senior/disabled individuals, ranging in size from studio's to two bedrooms. The two bedroom units have a max of four people in the household. Its office is located at 1201 Chrysler Drive, Wamego, KS 66547, and can be reached by calling (785) 456-7675 during normal office hours.
- The City of Clay Center Housing Authority (CCCHA) offers two Public Housing communities with 101 units for senior/disabled individuals. Its office is located at 330 W Court Street, Clay Center, KS 67432, and can be reached by calling (785) 632-2100 during normal office hours.
There are two ways to apply:
- Visit one of the housing authorities that are listed above to pick up a pre-application for that jurisdiction during normal office hours.
- Request to have a pre-application mailed to you by calling one of the housing authorities listed above, or you can call the main office at (913) 367-3323 during normal office hours to obtain a pre-application for either housing authority listed above.
Once the pre-application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the housing authority you wish to apply to.
