The Houma-Terrebonne Housing Authority (HTHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.The HTHA offers three Public Housing communities with 508 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from studios to 4 bedrooms.There are two ways to apply:1. Visit the HTHA to pick up a pre-application, located at 7491 Park Avenue, Houma, LA 70361 or 100 Senator Circle, Houma, LA 70361, from 7:30 am until 5:00 pm, Monday-Thursday, and on Fridays from 7:30 am until 12:00 pm.2. Download the pre-application here (be sure to download all six documents), then print and complete.Once the pre-application has been completed, it can be hand delivered to the address listed above, or mailed to P.O. Box 3816 Houma, La 70361-3816.Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, photo IDs for all adult household members, proof of all income, bank statements, background check signed, vehicle information, marriage or divorce papers if applicable, and medical allowance for elderly/disabled individuals, list of current and previous landlords.
