The Housing Authority of the Town of Delcambre (HATD) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.

The HATD offers one Public Housing community with 56 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size form 1 to 3 bedrooms.

To apply, visit the HATD to pick up a pre-application, located at 218 S Pelloat St., Delcambre, LA 70528-4022, from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm, and 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm, Monday-Thursday.

Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above, from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm, and 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm, Monday-Thursday.

Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, proof of all income, and photo IDs for all adult household members.

The HATD does have a preference for: Working families, elderly, or disabled.
