The Housing Authority of the Town of Oil City (HATOC) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.The HATOC offers one Public Housing community with 78 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from 1 to 4 bedrooms.There are two ways to apply:1. Visit the HATOC to pick up a pre-application, located at 126 N Dickey Ave, Oil City, LA 71061, from 8:00 am until 3:30 pm, Monday-Friday.2. Request to have a pre-application mailed to you by calling (318) 995-6669, from 8:00 am until 3:30 pm, Monday-Friday.Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above, from 8:00 am until 3:30 pm, Monday-Friday.Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, proof of all income, and photo IDs for all adult household members.The HATOC does not have a preference.Qualified applicants will be placed by the date and time the pre-application is received.For more information, call the HATOC office at (318) 995-6669, from 8:00 am until 3:30 pm, Monday-Friday.
