The St. Landry Parish Housing Authority (SLPHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.The SLPHA offers one Public Housing community with 146 units for families and senior/disabled  households, ranging in size from 1 to 4 bedrooms.To apply, visit the SLPHA to submit a pre-application in person, located at 509 W. Carriere St., Washington, LA 70589, from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm, and 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm, Monday-Friday.Be sure to bring these documents with you when applying: Social Security Cards for all household members, and photo IDs for all adult household members.The SLPHA does not have a preference.Qualified applicants will be placed by the date and time the pre-application is received.For more information, call the SLPHA office at 337-826-3686 during normal office hours.
