The Benton Housing Commission (BHC) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.The BHC offers two Public Housing communities with 300 units ranging in size from studio's to five bedrooms, for families and senior/disabled individuals.To apply, visit the BHC to pick up a pre-application, located at 1216 Blossom Ln., Benton Harbor, MI 49022, from 9:00 pm until 4:45 pm EDT, Monday-Friday.Once the application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above from 9:00 pm until 4:45 pm on Wednesdays only.Be sure to include copies of these documents with your application: Social Security Cards, the front and back of a government issued photo ID for all adult household members, birth certificates, and proof of all income.The BHC does not have a preference.
