The Big Stone County Housing and Redevelopment Authority (BSCHRA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.The BSCHRA offers one Public Housing community with 57 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from 1 to 4 bedrooms.There are two ways to apply:

  1. Visit the BSCHRA to pick up a pre-application, located at 301 1st St NW, Ortonville, MN 56278, from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm CT, Monday-Friday.
  2. Request to have a pre-application mailed to you by calling (320) 839-3304 from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday.
Once the pre-application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above.Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards, proof of all income, birth certificates, and photo IDs for all adult household members.No preferences were noted.For more information, visit the BSCHRA website, or call the office at (320) 839-3304 from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday.
