The Housing and Redevelopment Authority of Jackson (HRAJ) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.The HRAJ offers one Public Housing community with 74 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from 1 to 4 bedrooms.There are two ways to apply: 

  1. Visit the HRAJ to pick up a pre-application, located at 116 State Street, Jackson, MN 56143, during normal office hours.
  2. Request to have a pre-application mailed to you by calling (507) 847-3926 during normal office hours.
  3. Download the pre-application online here, then print and complete.
Once the pre-application has been completed, it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above, or emailed to swmnhraed@gmail.com.No documents are needed at this time.Preferences noted are: Elderly and military/veteran. For more information, visit the HRAJ website or call the office at (507) 847-3926 during normal office hours.
