Please note: The Mountain Grove Housing Authority manages a separate waiting list for the Norwood Housing Authority.The Mountain Grove Housing Authority (MGHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.The MGHA offers one Public Housing community with 135 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from studios to 3 bedrooms located throughout Mountain Grove, MO; and one Public Housing community with 26 units, ranging in size from 1 to 3 bedrooms located in Norwood, MO.There are two ways to apply:

  1. Visit the MGHA to pick up a pre-application, located at 301 West 1st St., Mountain Grove, MO 65711, from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm CT, Monday-Friday.
  2. Request to have a pre-application mailed to you by calling (417) 926-3142 from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday.Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, photo IDs for all adult household members, proof of all income, checking/savings account statements.The MGHA does have a preference for applicants that live/and or work in Mountain Grove or Norwood.For more information, call the MGHA office at (417) 926-3142 from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
