How To Apply to the Public Housing Waiting List

The Housing Authority of the Town of Morristown (HATM) is currently accepting public housing waiting list applications for senior/disabled individuals.

Please Note: The family public housing waiting list is currently closed.

The HATM offers two public housing communities with 470 units for families and senior/disabled individuals.

To apply, visit the HATM to fill out an application, located at 39 Early St., Morristown, NJ, between the hours of 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm, every third Thursday of the month. 

Be sure to bring these documents when filling out your application: photo IDs, proof of income, birth certificates, social security cards, Landlords name and address, and Doctors name and address.

Heads of Household Characteristics

1% of households were headed by a person 24 years old or less, 33% were headed by a person 25 to 49 years old, 28% were headed by a person 51 to 60 years old, and 39% were headed by a person 62 years old or older. In addition, 8% of households were headed by a person 85 years old or older.
