How To Apply to the Waiting List
The Coshocton Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA) is currently accepting public housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.

The CMHA offers one community dedicated to senior/disabled individuals, one family community, and Scattered apartment sites located throughout Coshocton.

To apply for public housing you must visit the CMHA office to pick up an application, located at 823 Magnolia St., Coshocton, OH 43812, between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm Monday-Wednesday and 8:00 am until 2:00 pm on Thursday and Friday.

Once the application has been completed it can be hand delivered to the address listed above. Be sure to include a copy of birth certificates for all members of the household.

Heads of Household Characteristics

3% of households were headed by a person 24 years old or less, 45% were headed by a person 25 to 49 years old, 31% were headed by a person 51 to 60 years old, and 21% were headed by a person 62 years old or older. In addition, 2% of households were headed by a person 85 years old or older.

33% of households included children, 7% of which had two adults in the household. 29% of households with children have a female head of household. 75% of all households were headed by a female.

3% of all voucher households were headed by minorities with 3% of all heads of households being Black and -1% being Hispanic.

Of all households participating in the Coshocton Metropolitan Housing Authority Housing Choice Voucher program, 35% include at least one person with a disability. 54% of households with a head of household 61 years or less were headed by a person with a disability. 75% of households headed by someone 62 or older were headed by a person with a disability.
