How To Apply to the Public Housing Waiting List
The
Housing Authority of the City of Idabel (HACI) is
currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.
The HACI offers one Public Housing community with 200 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from studios to 4 bedrooms.
To apply, visit the HACI office to pick up a pre-application, located at 901 Lyndon Rd., Idabel, OK 74745, from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm CT, Monday-Friday.
Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above.
Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, photo IDs for all adult household members, proof of all income, and current bank statement. All adults must be present when applying.
The HACI does not have a preference.
Applicants will receive a confirmation number upon submitting the pre-application. It is important to keep that number in a safe, easy to access place. It will be needed any time when referencing your pre-application with the housing authority.
Qualified applicants will be placed by the date and time the pre-application is received.
The current wait time for Public Housing is approximately 4 to 8 weeks.
