The Waurika Housing Authority (WHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.The WHA offers one Public Housing community with 93 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from studios to 4 bedrooms.To apply, visit the WHA office to pick up a pre-application, located at 811 Phillips Ave, Waurika, OK 73573, from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm, Monday-Friday.Once the pre-application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above, from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm, Monday-Friday.Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, photo IDs for all adult household members, and proof of all income.The WHA does have a preference for: Elderly, disabled,live and/or work in Waurika, and employed families.For more information, call the WHA office at (580) 228-2976, from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
