The Stigler Housing Authority (SHA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list pre-applications for families and senior/disabled households.The SHA offers one Public Housing community with 36 units for families and senior/disabled households, ranging in size from studios to 3 bedrooms.To apply, visit the SHA to pick up a pre-application, located at 200 SE B St., Stigler, OK 74462, from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm CT, Monday-Friday.Once the pre-application has been completed, call the SHA office to make an appointment with the director to hand in the pre-application.Be sure to include these documents with the pre-application: Social Security Cards and birth certificates for all household members, photo IDs for all adult household members, and proof of all income.The SHA does not have a preference.Applicants will receive a confirmation number upon submitting the pre-application. It is important to keep that number in a safe, easy to access place.
