The Housing Authority of the City of Pittston (HACP) is currently accepting public housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.

The HACP offers two public housing communities with 302 units for families and senior/disabled individuals.

To apply, you must visit the HACP in person to fill out an application, located at 500 Kennedy Blvd, Pittston, PA 18640, during normal office hours. No documents are needed at this time.

The HACP does have a preference point system that may improve your spot on the waiting list: disabled, elderly, homeless, victim of domestic violence, employed, live and/or work in Pittston, substandard living conditions, or displaced by natural disaster.

The Pittston Housing Authority (CPHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list is currently closed. It was last open in 2016. There is no notice of when this waiting list will reopen.

4% of households were headed by a person 24 years old or less, 47% were headed by a person 25 to 49 years old, 17% were headed by a person 51 to 60 years old, and 31% were headed by a person 62 years old or older. In addition, 2% of households were headed by a person 85 years old or older.
