The Somerset County Housing Authority (SCHA) is currently accepting public housing waiting list applications for families.Please Note: The one bedroom waiting list is currently closed.The SCHA offers one public housing community with 221 units for families and senior/disabled individuals.To obtain a public housing waiting list application, you must visit the housing authority, located at 981 Boswell Heights Dr, Boswell, PA 15531, during normal office hours.Once the application has been completed it can be mailed or hand delivered to the address listed above. Please include these documents with your application: birth certificates, social security cards, proof of all income, photo IDs for all adult household members.This housing authority does have a preference for applicants that live and/or work in Somerset County.For more information the housing authority can be reached by calling (814) 629-7148 during normal office hours.
