How To Apply to the Public Housing Waiting List
The Housing Authority of Abbeville (HAA) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.
The HAA offers one Public Housing community with 128 units for families and senior/disabled individuals.
There are two ways to apply:
1. Visit the HAA to pick up an application, located at 508 Haigler Street, Abbeville, SC, between the hours of 7:30 am until 5:00 pm, Monday-Thursday, and on Fridays from 7:30 am until 11:00 am.
2. Request that an application be mailed to you by calling 864-366-4549, between the hours of 7:30 am until 5:00 pm, Monday-Thursday, and on Fridays from 7:30 am until 11:00 am.
Once the application has been completed, it must be hand delivered to the address listed above, between the hours of 7:30 am until 5:00 pm, Monday-Thursday, and on Fridays from 7:30 am until 11:00 am.
Be sure to include these documents with your application: birth certificates, social security cards, proof of income, and photo IDs for all adult household members.
