The Housing Authority of Newberry (HAN) is currently accepting Public Housing waiting list applications for families and senior/disabled individuals.The HAN offers two Public Housing communities with 315 units for families and senior/disabled individuals.To apply, visit the HAN to submit an application in person, located at 3589 Grant Ave, Newberry, SC 29108, between the hours of 9:00 am until 11:00 am, and 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm, on Tuesdays and Thursdays.Be sure to bring these documents with you when applying: birth certificates, social security cards, proof of all income, photo IDs for all adult household members.The HAN does have a preference, the full list of preferences are on the front page of the application.For more information, the HAN can be reached by calling (803) 276-1049, between the hours of 7:30 am until 6:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
